August 31 is the HVUT Form 2290 Truck Tax Deadline
The federal heavy vehicle use tax (HVUT) return must be filed for the month the taxable vehicle is first used on public highways during the current period, pay in full. Usually August 31st is the last date for reporting this 2290 truck taxes for the complete tax period. As stated above the current period begins July 1, 2021 and ends June 30, 2022 of a tax year and August 31, 2021 is the due date for reporting and pay the HVUT returns.
If in case purchased
